Cupro-nickel has good corrosion resistance to atmospheres and seawater. It retains its strength at higher temperatures than tin bronze or nickel silver. Cupro-nickel has good corrosion resistance to condensate containing dissolved incondensable gases and give good service. It is an excellent material for sea water pipe lines and marine applications. It is used for relay springs and connectors, particularly in communications equipment. |
